Jaguars staying in Jacksonville

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver is reporting that the team will not be moving anywhere and are not for sale. There were talks of negotiations being made between Weaver and billionaire C. Dean Metropoulos as the team could possibly be moved to Los Angeles. Weaver said that the team will stay put in Jacksonville and although he cannot determine the future he is putting his foot down by saying the Jaguars will be from Jacksonville as far as he can see. The team has faced some financial debt and the possibility of bringing invenstors in has been talked about. Jacksonville Jaguars fans are thrilled because they sure do love their team and would hate the fact to spend their Sundays watching them play in another state.

DE Pittman hopes to play for Browns very soon

Chase Pittman was a rookie player who did not get a chance to showcase his talents for the Cleveland Browns last season and is seeking to make the most of the organized team’s activity practices beginning next week to sneak into the regular season roster. Pittman said that he is the best shape of his life and is well aware that the Browns coaches are looking out for the strength and agility he displays during the practice sessions to consider his name in the team roster. Pittman’s NFL dream may come true this season as he is one young defensive end who has rich experience at college level playing for LSU and Texas.

Paul Spicer signs two year extension contract with Jaguars

There is all possibility that defensive end Paul Spicer will end his NFL career as a Jacksonville Jaguar player, as he has extended his contract with the Jaguars for a period of two years. The two parties mutually agreed on an $8 million contract and 33 year old Spicer was also very keen in staying with the Jaguars team. Paul Spicer is one of the best defensive ends to have played for the jaguars and the fans are hoping that he repeats the same performance that he had displayed last season where he had 7 ½ sacks. The Jaguar fans will be rushing to buy their tickets to watch their favorite defensive end in action.
