New York Giants on a signing spree

Three draft choices quarterback Andre Woodson, linebackers Jonathan Goff and Bryan Kehl were signed by the New York Giants on Tuesday. Since quarterback Jared Lorenzen was waived off by the Giants last Monday, there is all possibility that Woodson would replace him in the team for the upcoming season. The former University of Kentucky player, Woodson, is also aware of the same and is waiting for the yes from the team management. Woodson is confident that he can easily fit into the Giants thick of things and is raring to make an impression on the coaching staff once he gets his foot on the Giants ground. The Giants fans will be buying tickets for the games to watch these new players show their best talent in the upcoming NFL season.

Curry joins his Oakland team for practice

The leading wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders last season, Ronald Curry, said that he has fully recovered from the left foot surgery that he had undergone last season. He has now started practicing with his Raiders teammates in his normal receiver’s position. Curry said that he did not rush up with things after his surgery and gave ample time for his foot to recover. Ronald Curry says that he is looking forward to an injury free NFL season this year unlike his previous two seasons. The Raiders will be able to give their best shot in the upcoming season now that Curry has arrived and the loyal fans as before will be rushing to book their tickets well in advance.

Giants’ defensive end Strahan retires

Michael Strahan, the New York Giants defensive end, has bid adieu to the NFL after being associated with it as a player for 15 seasons. Strahan in his final news conference said that it was the right time for him to quit the game and thanked the Giants fans as well as his teammates for the excellent support they have given him over the years. He was happy that he is ending his career after seeing his team through to the Super Bowl title in 2007. The Giants’ fans buying tickets to watch their best team compete in the upcoming season will be saddened that they will not be able to see Michael Strahan in the Giants uniform anymore.

Adam Jones allowed to practice with the Cowboys

The NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has allowed the suspended cornerback Adam Jones to join his Dallas Cowboys team’s practice sessions and has also allowed him to take part in the pre-season games as well as training camps. But, there is no concrete declaration about Pacman, nickname for Adam Jones, playing the regular season for the Cowboys team. Jones said that he was pretty confident that he will be allowed to play this season and will give his best for the team this season. Jones fans are hoping to hear the good news pretty soon and have already purchased tickets to the Cowboys games in anticipation of him making to the team roster.
